Donating to a good cause. . .

A good-sized crowd attended the Legion pancake feed on Sunday, March 31, which was hosted in conjunction with the Sons of the American Legion, Osmond Volunteer Fire Department and HOME Team Community Club. In top left photo, some of Osmond’s veterans enjoy the meal, while in top right picture, Ashley Moes feeds daughter Megan her choice of meal while father Jordan enjoys his pancakes. At bottom left, Jason Rauss of Council Bluffs moves through the serving line. At bottom right, Dean Stueckrath and Roger Johnson present Mayor James Bessmer a check for $4,581 raised at the pancake feed for the Osmond Flood Relief Fund. To add to the good news, a supper and concert held last Thursday raised approximately $6,800 for the relief fund.
