Council discusses development of city website

OSMOND — The regular meeting of the Osmond City Council on Monday, Feb. 12, began with the one- and six-year street plan hearing. Only one resident was in attendance for the hearing. Gerald Kumm asked about the areas in which street improvements would take place. The plan includes 4th Street from Maple Street to one block west of Meadow and State Street south from Highway 20 to Chestnut Street.

Help Needed for Website

Council members discussed the need for input from local residents regarding the City of Osmond website. A person is needed to coordinate and implement a website that welcomes and introduces new families and businesses with an overview of what the City of Osmond has to offer. Local residents were asked to share ideas and contact Mayor James Bessmer or council members with names of those interested in coordinating these efforts.
