Community members, students share their ‘vision’ for Osmond’s future

OSMOND — What future do we want to create for Osmond?” That was the question posed to Osmond citizens — both students and adults — in the Visioning sessions hosted by the Nebraska Community Foundation (NCF) and Osmond Community Fund (OCF) last week.

The first session was held at Osmond Community School Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 2. Twenty Student Council members were hosted by Kara Weander-Gaster of Norfolk and Dena Beck of Minden, members of the Nebraska Community Foundation. They were joined by Aaron Gutz, treasurer of the Osmond Community Fund, who welcomed the students. He explained what the Osmond group plans to do and what the Nebraska group has been doing for a number of years.
