Cleanup continues. . .

Two weeks after the devastating flood that swept through the southern part of Osmond, the cleanup efforts continue. Homes are still drying out and need a lot of work done and some might not be salvageable.

The future of Tiger Tavern is still uncertain, and at Farmers Pride, the railroad and the scale are being worked on, and electricity and trucks are still not working. The cornstalks that floated into town on the floodwaters are also still visible everywhere.

The cleanup will continue this weekend, weather permitting. Although the forecast calls for a high of 71 on Wednesday, the temperature will fall into the mid to low 40s by the weekend with a chance of rain on Friday.
