City council reorganizes; approves ordinances, salary increases

OSMOND — The Osmond City Council held its regular meeting on Monday, Dec. 11, which included reorganization of the council. President of the Council Melissa Hoppe announced the appointments of council members, a complete list of which is printed with the city minutes on another page of this issue.

Engineer Steve Parr with JEO Consulting Group, Inc. reviewed potential items to be added to the city’s one-and-six-year street plan and suggested that the annual maintenance review be scheduled. Looking to the future, he recommended – and the council agreed – that the next two projects to get onto the one-and-six-year plan will be State Street to Logan Street and to also look at fixing culverts.
