Affordable housing funds sought by city council

OSMOND — At the Monday, April 8, meeting of the Osmond City Council, an Affordable Housing Trust Funds Hearing was held. Lowell Schroeder of Northeast Nebraska Economic Development District (NENEDD) presented an overview of the joint venture between the City of Osmond and Osmond Ventures Resources (OVR) to create the Osmond Housing Investment Revolving Loan Fund. The proposed application to the Nebraska Department of Economic Development for 2019 Nebraska Affordable Housing Trust Funds (NAHTF) will be submitted for possible grant funding for local affordable housing activities.
