Merle Allen Rudebusch

LINCOLN — Merle Allen Rudebusch, 88, Lincoln, died Jan. 11, 2022 in Lincoln.

Merle was born in Randolph Dec. 9, 1933. He has lived in Lincoln for the last 49 years.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Jan. 28, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Lincoln, with Pastor Mark Ebert officiating.

Visitation will be held at Trump Funeral Services, Lincoln, from 5-7 p.m., Jan. 27.

Burial will be held at a later date in Yankee Hill Cemetery, Lincoln.

Merle is preceded in death by his mother, May (Shipman) Rudebusch, and father, John D. Rudebusch.

Merle is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Arlene (Lambrecht) Rudebusch; his five children, Lori (Robert) Ryman, Elmwood; Sharon (Mark) Poindexter, Bellevue; Michael (Tonya) Rudebusch, Seward; Phillip Rudebusch, Lincoln; Robert (Michelle) Rudebusch, Castle Rock, Colo.; seven grandchildren, Elizabeth (Shane) Pitts, Kristin Ryman, Daniel Rudebusch, Mikayla Rudebusch, Victoria Rudebusch, Lukas Rudebusch and Haylee Rudebusch; and great-granddaughter, McKenzie Pitts.
