Judy Ann Bosiljevac

OMAHA — Funeral services for Judy Ann Bosiljevac, 70, of Omaha were held Friday, Jan. 15, 2021, at St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church in Omaha. Father Dave Belt officiated the service and burial was at Calvary Cemetery.

Mrs. Bosiljevac died Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021.

Judy was born in Osmond on Nov. 12, 1950, to Gilbert and Dolores (Jansen) Haselhorst. Judy grew up on the family farm as the oldest of six children and attended St. Mary’s Catholic School and Osmond High School. She graduated in 1969 and went on to college for four years at University of Nebraska Omaha. While attending college, Judy met her husband, Bob. They were married on July 12, 1975. Judy worked and managed at Sears until the couple's son, Aaron, was adopted. He was born Dec. 24, 1984. They then adopted their daughter, Nicole, who was born on Jan. 13, 1989. Judy was a stay-at-home mom while her kids were little and then worked as a para at St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic School, where her kids attended. She worked there many years and then went to work at Cabela’s when the store opened in 2006. She was still employed by Cabela’s at the time of her passing. Judy also spent much of her time serving as a religion teacher, first communion teacher and doing anything she could to help at her church. Judy loved to garden, grow flowers, craft and sew. However, Judy’s greatest love were her kids and five grandkids. She loved to spend time with them whenever she could. Judy leaves behind her husband, Bob; son, Aaron and wife Alysha (Oman) and their children Coltin, Harmony, Parker, and Jaxson, daughter, Nicole and husband Jeremy Moore and their son Bradley, sisters Janelle (Steve) Schell, Jerlyn (Greg) Gubbels and Ellen (Pat) Boyle, and brothers Dennis (Jane) Haselhorst and Don Haselhorst.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Dolores Haselhorst.
