Jackie K. Kulick

OSMOND — Jackie K. Kulick, 85, of Osmond, formerly of Portage, PA, passed away on Aug. 31, 2021, at Faith Regional Health Services, in Norfolk. Stonacek Memorial Chapel in Osmond is in charge of the arrangements. A memorial service and burial will be held in Pennsylvania at a later date.

Jackie was born Soon Keum Lee on Feb. 27, 1936, in Jonnam–do, South Korea, to her father, Pong Young Lee and her mother Sun Duk Cho. She was the youngest of five children. She met George Kulick while he was serving in the U. S. Army. They were married in 1963. In South Korea, the couple had three children, George, Theresa and Robert. In 1968, the family moved to Pennsylvania, where they had their last child, Donna. After her husband died in 1977, Jackie worked hard to support her children, including working in a coal mine and as a seamstress. Jackie was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and faithful Catholic. Jackie enjoyed flowers, crocheting, painting, and spending time with her family.

Jackie is survived by her children, George R. (Jacqueline) Kulick II of Triangle, VA, Theresa Miller of New Braunfels, TX, and Donna (Dwight) Kahny of Osmond; 16 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Jackie was preceded in death by her husband George; her parents; three brothers; one sister; son Robert, and special friend Walter Dutkosky.
