Donna Marie (Rosberg) Young

ELKHORN — Donna Marie (Rosberg) Young, 63, Elkhorn, died Oct. 16, 2018, at her home in Elkhorn. Donna was born July 2, 1955, in Emmetsburg, Iowa, to Wayne and Doris Rosberg. She was baptized at Zion Lutheran Church, Ayrshire, Iowa. At the age of 3, she moved with her parents and younger brother, David, to Wausa. She was confirmed at Golgotha Lutheran Church, rural Wausa. She attended Wausa Public Schools and graduated in 1973. Following graduation, she attended and graduated from Northeast Community College, Norfolk. Donna married Dan Young Sept. 17, 1977, at Golgotha Lutheran Church. During their marriage they lived in Grand Island, and Omaha, as she pursued her banking career. They had recently moved to Elkhorn. They had two sons, Chad and Matthew. Donna enjoyed flowers, family get-togethers, family reunions, and the outdoors. But most of all, she enjoyed her family. Donna was a most beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister and friend. She is and will be missed greatly by all who knew her. Donna is survived by her husband, Dan Young, Elkhorn; sons, Chad Young and Matthew (Jackie) Young all of Omaha; mother, Doris Rosberg, Wausa; and sister, Carol (Mike) Krueger, Norfolk; and in-laws, John and Shirley Young, Omaha. Donna was a special aunt to many nieces and nephews; she also had many special in-laws, and extended family. Donna was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Rosberg, in 1991.
