Cleo Mary Schulte

WHITTIER, Calif.— Cleo Mary Schulte, 92, Whittier, Calif., died Nov. 14, 2018. Funeral services will be 12 p.m., Dec. 15, at Holy Cross Cemetery, Culver City, Calif., officiated by Fr. Spellman. Interment will be in the same location. Holy Cross Cemetery, Culver City, is assisting with the arrangements. Cleo was born Jan. 27, 1926, to John Mueller and Martha Albrecht. She married John H. Schulte in 1948 at St. Boniface Church, Menominee. Cleo worked at the State Hospital, Yankton, S.D.; WNAX Radio, Yankton, S.D.; was a secretary in Los Angeles, Calif.; and a homemaker when they moved to Downey, Calif. She also volunteered at Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Church and School. She is survived by her children, Dan, Jean, Lori, John and Jeff; grandchildren, Kim Diegle (David), Alex, Kristen Omohundro (Mark), Erik Battista;  great-grandson, Everett Diegle; brothers and sisters, Muellers, Elizabeth, Henry, Laurine, Julianne (Bud Beyer), Mary, John Jr.(Caroline Tramp), Rose, Ed (Madeline) and Esther (Cy Schulte). She was preceded in death by her husband, John. Memorials may be made to “Wounded Warrior.”
