Lady Tigers named to All-state honorable mention

OSMOND — Osmond High School basketball coach Terry Viterna announced that five Lady Tigers received Class D-1 All-state honorable mention. They were Maddy Huwaldt and Mary Kahny, both seniors, and Grace Gansebom, Kiera Moes and Macy Aschoff, all sophomores.

“These girls were our starting five most of the season,” Viterna said. “All of these young ladies and the rest of the team did a very good job this season, finishing with an 11-11 record in a very tough conference and tough schedule.” The names were just released

The names were just released for All-state March 28, Viterna commented. It was later this year because of the COVID-19 virus, he added.
