Mail-in Ballot Applications
County Election Commissioner Shannon Wragge reminds residents that early mail-in ballot request applications have been mailed to Pierce County voters. The letters sent out include two “Application for Early Voter’s Ballot” forms per household.
Wragge said, “If you need more than two forms, make copies for others in the household, or contact the Pierce County Clerk’s office to mail additional forms.”
The form can be filled out and returned to the election commissioner by fax, email, regular mail, or put in the secure drop box.
Governor Pete Ricketts, having confirmed that Nebraska’s 2020 primary election will take place May 12, as planned, reminds voters Nebraska is a “no excuse” early ballot request state.
Early Ballots
May 1, is the last day to request a mail-in ballot. Counties will begin mailing early voting ballots on April 6, to those who have requested a mail-in ballot. Early ballots must be physically received by the election office by the closing of election polls on May 12. Voters can return ballots by mail or by placing them in the ballot drop box.
