Special Memorial Day services are planned here

COLERIDGE — The Coleridge American Legion Carl Korff Post #114 and Auxilliary will hold its traditional activities here Monday, May 28. The Avenue of Flags, sponsored by the American Legion, will be flown Saturday through Monday as a tribute to service personnel who courageously served this country. American Legion and Auxilliary members and any other volunteers willing to help, are asked to meet at 1 p.m. Saturday May 26 at the Community Building to put up the flags.

Members and volunteers will take down the flags at 4 p.m. Monday. Again, volunteers to help take down the flags will be greatly appreciated. All American Legion and Auxilliary members, children and grandchildren of the veterans, and Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts are encouraged to meet at the Fire Hall at 9 a.m. to take part in the event.
