OHS students named to Conference Honor Band

WAYNE — On Saturday, Jan. 20, Wayne State College hosted the annual Lewis and Clark Conference honor band. Early Saturday morning, seven Osmond students travelled to Wayne, where the honor band was held. The students included seniors Jessica Jensen and Leslie Jensen, junior Shyann Rohloff-Levos, sophomore Diandra Polt and freshmen Connor von Rentzell, Allie Aschoff and Jozie Kumm.

Once they arrived at the music building, each student had to audition in front of a judge for their chair placements. The auditions consisted of scales and excerpts. Around nine in the morning, after all of the auditions were completed, the students were sorted into two bands by their directors: a freshman-sophomore band and a junior-senior band.
