Defense key to LCC boys’ success this winter

LAUREL — Fourth-year head coach Todd Erwin has a ton of gaps to fill but thinks his young LCC boys basketball team can compete if they step up their game on defense this season.

“We graduated four seniors, so we will be a young team; however, these boys pass the ball and shoot well,” he said. “If we can get them to play hardnosed defense, we will be able to compete.”
