‘Bouncing Back’ is the Summerfest theme for 2022

OSMOND — Members of Community HOME Team met in early April to try and make plans for upcoming events.

The group discussed plans for Summerfest, which will have the theme of “Bouncing Back.” It was decided to go ahead with the event this year after it was canceled the past two years. It will be held on Sunday, June 26, which is the day after the biennial Osmond High School alumni reunion.

So far for Summerfest, the events that have been confirmed are the pancake feed and health checks in the morning, and car show, corn hole tournament, poker tournament, kids’ tractor pull, free petting zoo and parade in the afternoon. There will also be a pulled pork sandwich supper.

In addition, there will be announcements of the Osmond Outstanding Citizen and Outstanding Osmond Farm Family.

More information about all these events and others as they are confirmed will be reported as the date gets closer.

The next meeting of Community HOME Team will be held next Tuesday, May 17, at 7 p.m. at 3rd Street Bar & Grill. All members are asked to attend and help with planning of Summerfest. All members of the community are also always welcome to help out and to join the Team!
