Winners named in Randolph FFA Booster Car and Truck Show

RANDOLPH - The Randolph FFA Booster Car, Truck and Tractor Show was held Sunday, July 12 in downtown Randolph.

There were approximately 55 cars and trucks from as far as South Dakota and Iowa. A car, truck and tractor parade started after the winners were announced. Results of the show are:

1955 and Older: first - Jim Gardels (1932 Ford 3 W Coupe), second, Bret Gieselman (1932 Ford Hot Rod), third, - Denise Marx (1953 Ford Crestline).

1956-1960: first - Randy and Susan Tannehill (1957 Chevrolet Bel Air), second - Rod Greenamyre (1958 Ford Skyliner).

1961-1964: first-John Judt (1961 Chevrolet Brookwood), second - Spike and Bonnie Vogt (1963 Studebaker Lark), third - Steve Stueckrath (1963 1/2 Ford Galaxie 500).

1965-1968: first - Doug and Lisa Wattier (1965 Pontiac GTO Convertible), second - Bob Kint (1966 Pontiac GTO), third - Dave and Sandy Owens (1968 Chevrolet Camaro).

1969-1972: first - Dennis Folkers (1969 Dodge SuperBee), second - Zack and Jen Mertens (1969 Dodge Charger), third - Roger Palu (1969 Chevrolet Camaro).

1973-1979: first - Kelly and LaRae Gubbels (1976 Mercury Cougar XR7), second - Leonard Westerman (1974 Plymouth Duster), third - Mike Korth (1974 Ford Grand Torino Elite).

1980-2000: first - Kendall Kuhl (1999 Ford Mustang SVT), second - Corey Miller (1986 Buick Regal), third - John and Theresa Lange (1981 Pontiac TransAm).

Pickups/Vans 1970 & Earlier: first - Kirt and Michelle Flannery (1957 Chevrolet 3100), second - Austin and Jessy Hilkemier (1953 Chevrolet 3800 Stock Truck), third-Ryan and Angie Brodersen (1949 Chevrolet 3100 Restored).

Pickups/Vans 1971- 2000: first - Derek Kuhl (1994 Chevrolet K-1500), second - Lynn Dowling (1991 Chevrolet Silverado), third - Kraig Dolph (1972 Chevrolet El Camino).

Project Mix & Match: first - Allen and Dana Jeannertot (1973 Dodge Charger).
