West-Hodson receives Do it Best Award

OSMOND — West-Hodson Lumber & Concrete recently received the Do it Best Corp. 2019 Purchase Award. Ron Armbrust of Do it Best was in Osmond last week to present the award. Adam Bloomquist, assistant manager, who is in charge of ordering and stocking at West-Hodson, was on hand to receive the award.According to the wording on the plaque, the award was presented for annual purchases in excess of $1 million during 2019. It goes on to say “It is with appreciation that this award is granted for the confidenceand loyalty displayed in Do it Best Corp.”Luella Hodson, co-owner of West-Hodson, commented that there are more products available now at the business. Tools for contractors, plumb-ing, hardware, electrical and gardening products have all been expanded.“As the result of COVID-19, people are not traveling to Norfolk as much,” Luella said. “They are realizing that there’s a lot they can get here in town.”
