Wausa Medical Clinic set for major building renovation

OSMOND — On January 27th, The Board of Directors of Osmond General Hospital approved a plan at their meeting Jan. 27 to renovate the Wausa Medical Clinic building. CM Builders, a local contractor, will be doing the building renovations, which will consist of a more efficient floor plan, new reception area, larger handicap accessible restrooms and larger exam rooms. The project will begin March 1, and will be done in two phases. The goal is to maintain clinic operations while the renovations are being completed.

Phase one will begin with the back half of the building and should be completed in two months. Once phase one is complete, clinic patients will enter through the side door to the North while the front half of the building is remodeled.

“We are very excited for the remodel of our building to begin,” said Heidi Haberer, the clinic manager. “This remodel will provide a more modernized feel while maintaining quality patient care, including preventative medicine for all ages along with all of your acute care needs.”

The clinic staff appreciates your patience while these muchneeded renovations take place.
