Wausa Humanities Council program will focus on WW II

WAUSA — Kevin and Charlotte Endorf will present “Kind Nebraskans” at the Lied Lincoln Township Library July 22, at 6:30 p.m. They will speak about WWII and the Holocaust.

Kevin and Charlotte have traveled to Hawaii and Arizona as well as interviewed many Nebraskans to bring the program together.

The program presents heartwarming stories about survivors as well as information about how Hitler’s nationalist Nazi party came to power.

Charlotte is a lifelong Nebraskan. As a member of Toastmasters International she earned the Distinguished Toastmaster award twice. She specializes in speaking to elementary schools, women’s groups, museums, town festivals, senior centers, nursing homes and libraries throughout Nebraska,

Charlotte and her daughter, Sarah, have published 10 books. She has developed three documentaries that keep history alive. She was selected as Nebraska’s 2011 Mother of the Year.
