Successes of 2019

Area residents accomplished many great things in 2019. Two stand out in particular. Wausa completed a Main Street Revitalization project which helped the community fix up, paint up and clean up the downtown area. The school also began their much-awaited demolition and construction project. Also, Wausa High School’s Paige Nissen turned some heads as she flew down the track during the 200-meter finals at the State Track Meet to finish third and claim the bronze medal.
