Six confirmed at Immanuel

OSMOND — Six young adult members of Immanuel Lutheran Church were confirmed during services on Palm Sunday, March 28, with Rev. Carl Lilienkamp officiating at the 9:30 a.m. service. The Rite of Confirmation included introduction of the confirmands and recital of their confirmation verses.

The Rite of Confirmation included solemn vows of the parents, sponsors and congregation. Members of the confirmation class and their parents then received communion. Hymns played during the service included “Hosanna, Loud Hosanna,” “All Glory, Laud, and Honor,” “Let Me Be Thine Forever” and “Thine Forever, God Of Love.”

Members of the confirmation class, their parents and confirmation verses were Cody Lee Gansebom, son of Shawn and Jennifer Gansebom, Joshua 1:9; Brianna Marie Kumm, daughter of Anthony and Cassandra Micklevitz, Psalm 23:4; Landon Joseph Oltjenbruns, son of Timothy and Rashelle Oltjenbruns, John 14:24; Keyston James Pfanstiel, son of James and Amber Pfanstiel, Matthew 13:45; Ella Marie von Rentzell, daughter of Aaron and Jennifer von Rentzell, Luke 1:37; Erin Elizabeth Wagner, daughter of Chris and Robin Wagner, Psalm 46:5.
