Showing off their patriotism

Area residents came out in force Friday to welcome the Medal of Honor Highway walkers to Laurel. The walkers started at the Nebraska-Wyoming border on May 11 and finished May 22 in South Sioux City. (top) The Medal of Honor walkers left Laurel knowing that Patriotism runs deep here. Dwayne Freeman, Ken Hanel, Adeline Hanel and Daryl Harrison started out on the road as the group left Laurel.
