Seventeen? You can register to vote

CENTER — Did you know that seventeen-year-olds can register now and vote in the upcoming Primary Election as long as they will be eighteen before November 3? They can! Voter registration is very easy – you can do so online or through the mail. With the Courthouse currently closed to the public, we recommend that you register online or through the mail as most Nebraska Courthouses are closed to the public except by appointment during this COVID-19 situation.

To register to vote or to update a registration, voters can go the Knox County website of www.co.knox.ne.us and on the home page there is a button “Election Information”. By clicking that, the first link you will see is the online voter registration link.  Also, this is where you would find the form to print off and mail in if you wish.

Call Knox County Clerk Joann Fischer at 402-288-5604 with any questions. WE WANT YOUR VOTE TO COUNT
