Santa is coming to Wausa

Christmas in Wausa is set for Dec. 10

WAUSA —  The annual Christmas in Wausa Celebration is set up for Monday Dec. 10 from 5-7 p.m. with the lighting of the Christmas tree to follow at 7:15 p.m.

The Community Club committee has been busy planning a great evening for all in Wausa to enjoy.

There will be something for everyone: including games on main street, trolley rides starting at Bill’s Place, make ornaments for the tree; provided by Wausa Medical, free popcorn; provided by Bill’s Place and will be located by the tree, cookie decorating upstairs in the old library, shopping of the local businesses.

There will be drawings for Vikings Bucks, visit any of the businesses to get your card, only one card is needed, once you have visited 10 businesses you  can enter the drawing to receive Vikings Bucks, which can be spent at any business in Wausa. There will be a total of 4 winners of $25 each.

Santa will be at the library, sitting next to the fireplace, so be sure to stop and see him  for a picture and to give him your wish list.
