Saharan haze?

Cashe Carlson spent part of Monday raking hay just across from Wausa’s Gladstone Park. Northeast Nebraska residents have been enduring stifling heat and humidity the past couple of days, leaving most people drenched and exhausted. The humidity caused a haze above the area. That haze could also be a product of the African Sahara sand storms. Meteorologists have tracked the storms across the ocean and up through the Gulf of Mexico. It had been tracked as far as the upper Great Plains, Omaha and Lincoln, by Monday.
