Randolph Woman’s Club donates new children’s books to library
RANDOLPH — The Randolph Woman’s Club donated part of the proceeds from the Fall Craft Show to purchase 58 new children’s books for the Lied Randolph Public Library.
These titles include a variety of books including Golden Sower award winners. A popular edition this year is Who Was?, What Was?, and Where Is? Books. They tell the incredible stories of trailblazers, legends, innovators, cool places, and important events. The subjects for the Who Was? series are often chosen because they are people who are the first at something, or the best at what they do, or who have made major contributions in their field—and sometimes all three. The Where Is? titles are some of the most fascinating places on earth, and What Was? subjects are usually things we all wish we knew more about. Several of the new titles have Accelerated Reader tests available.
