Pool opens with a splash

The weather was a little cool but it didn’t stop area kids last week from enjoying the first day of the pool being open. Max is the son of Jeremy and Alecia Barnes, while Matthias is the son of Tyler and Rachel Hansen. Laurel’s swimming pool opened for the season on May 31, much to the delight of area kids. Even though attendance was down because of the cooler weather, it’s just the beginning of a summer season full of making memories at the pool.
