Outdoor Classroom is planned in Hennings’ memory

WAUSA  — Wausa Elementary Parent Council and High School Booster Club have joined efforts to raise money for an outdoor class room in memory of Tish Hennings. The classroom will be located on west side on the hill, next to the elementary classrooms. 

Tish Hennings began teaching in Wausa in 1996. In 2008, she became the Title Coordinator and fourth grade science teacher. In 2016,  Hennings became the elementary principal. April 18, 2019, Tish left us and went to Heaven. 

Her love for the students, desire to educate, and her love for science will never be forgotten. 

The goal is to raise funds by June 1, so construction can begin. This will be a place for Vikings to be outside with fresh air and be in a peaceful beautiful place to learn. 

 Please help support us and give in Memory of Tish Hennings.
