Only one polling site for election

Pierce County Clerk Shannon Wragge has announced that the Nebraska Secretary of State office has just approved Pierce County to have one polling site on Primary Election Day, Tuesday, May 12 . The polling site will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the PIERCE FAIRGROUNDS PAVILION.

The reason for this is that Wragge is short on poll workers who cannot be exposed, therefore the polling sites at Osmond auditorium, Plainview Library and Hadar Fire Hall will be CLOSED.

The Pierce County CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) Group will be the poll workers for this ONE site in Pierce County. This news will also be on the radio and Facebook.

As election day gets closer, for anyone who has NOT received an Early Voter Ballot in the mail, Wragge will be sending out postcards letting those voters know that, if they want to vote on Election Day at the Polls, they will need to go to the PIERCE FAIRGROUNDS PAVILION.
