McLean budget hearing to be held

McLEAN — The first of many budget hearings for political subdivisions, that of the Village of McLean, will be held Wednesday, Sept. 9. According to the Notice of Budget Hearing, which is printed in this issue of the Republican, the proposed budget disbursements are $142,500, the same as last year. 

Tax asking for the village is $5,151.48, while last year it was $5,099. The proposed tax rate this year is $0.450000, up from last year’s $0.449852.

The hearing to set final tax request will follow the budget hearing on Sept. 9.
