Making the Most of It

The snowstorm last week, while not as bad as the previous week’s blizzard which was accompanied by strong winds, still managed to drop about 5 or 6 inches of extra snow on the area. Although some may not have liked the snow, these area kids made the most of the snow by building snowmen and snow tunnels during their Christmas break.

Above, Rose (Wingert) Becker’s grandchildren — Cohen, Wesson, Alivia and Lauren Clausen, children of Brent and Regina Clausen, and their uncle, Aaron Becker — built these snowmen on Christmas Day on the Beckers’  farm just east of Magnet. The grandkids are from Bennington, while Aaron is from Minneapolis.
