Kuhl throws hat in ring for city mayor
PIERCE — As of Monday, March 2 — the last filing date for non-incumbents to file for office for the primary election — Osmond now has a candidate for city mayor. Dennis Kuhl threw his hat in the ring last week, and will run unopposed in the primary election. In addition, Dennis Haselhorst filed for a spot on the Osmond City Council. Several more candidates filed for office in other county towns, while five more candidates filed for Pierce County Commissioner of District I. Those filing for the county commissioner spot include Tom Kuether of Pierce and Butch Anderson, John Steinkraus, James Aschoff and Steve MacGregor, all of Plainview.
