Hole in the Wall

The little spot on Main Street in Wausa has recently seen a facelift. A group of volunteers including, (l-r) Deb Cunningham, Linda Rorvik, Lyle Rorvik, Chris Johnson and Julie Wisch, removed shabby, worn-out lattice, cleaned flower beds, and hauled out trash to start a mini revitalization project to give the space a renewed purpose. Owner, Vern Hubers, gave the okay to tackle this project and is always a supporter of Wausa. Flowers have been planted, baskets hung, and benches that sat in front of the bank decades ago have been modified to fit the area. This space provides shade and seating for the community. Plants were donated by Jane Wilbeck.
