Girl Scout cookie sales have started

RANDOLPH — The Randolph Girl Scouts started cookie sales on Friday, Feb. 7 and will continue through Sunday, March 15.

Last year, the troop of six girls sold 2544 boxes. This year the troop consists of have nine girls, and they have a goal to sell 3000 boxes as a troop. The girls use the money they earn to help pay for their membership, uniforms, badges and patches they earn, and to attend Girl Scout events.

If you don’t want Girl Scout cookies for yourself, you can purchase cookies for the share program and they will be donated to others. This year, cookies purchased for the share program will be divided and donated to our local fire department, city employees, the senior center, and nursing home.
