Community improvement grant applications now available, deadline April 1

RANDOLPH — The Randolph Area Foundation is now accepting applications for its Randolph Community Improvement Grant. The purpose of this grant is to encourage organizations and individuals to pursue community projects to enhance the lives of all in the Randolph community.
 

$5000 is available during this grant period. The grant can be one project for $5,000 or 10 projects for $500, depending on applications and funding.
 

Anyone or organization with a non-profit idea that will enhance the Randolph community is encouraged to apply. Areas of interest are community development, arts, education, children and families, human services and health. The foundation is interested in receiving applications for specific, defined projects or programs. The Randolph Area Foundation Community Improvement Grant began in 2002. Over $37,000 has been funded for projects like St. Johns Lutheran Church for the Community Food Pantry, Randolph Public Library, Friends for the Downtown Beautification Project, youth programs, water tower painting, scouting projects, city park improvements and many more.

Applications are at the Lied Randolph Public Library or please apply online at RandolphAreaFoundation.com/grant.

The deadline for grant applications will be April 1, 2021.

Approved proposals will be notified no later than May 1, 2021.
