Coleridge Fire Dept. honors long-time members

COLERIDGE — The Coleridge Volunteer Fire Department honored some of its current and former members Saturday.

Appreciation plaques were handed out to several members during the annual picnic at the Coleridge Community Building for the volunteer firemen and their families.

This year, retired members who had served 25-plus years were special guests at the event.

Plaques were given to the retired members and service pins to active members, ranging in service from one to 42 years.

Rides were given to the kids on the Department’s antique Model T fire truck and one of the pumpers.
