Celebrating Holy Week. . .

On Saturday, April 4, Father Tim Forget gathered parishioners of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Osmond, St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Pierce and St. Jane Frances Catholic Church in Randolph to begin celebrating Holy Week. More than 100 cars gathered around St. Mary’s in Osmond to join in the Palm Sunday blessing of palms and procession. Fr. Tim set up outside (top photo) so everyone could remain in their vehicles and still witness the ceremony. The palms were then handed to all in attendance (Gary Schieffer, bottom left), and a procession around town followed, with Father Tim riding in the “Popemobile” to lead parishioners. Father Tim then celebrated Mass via YouTube.

For Immanuel Lutheran Church parishioners, Rev. Glen Emery has been putting daily messages on Facebook and will have a full Easter service on the church’s website on Sunday. United Methodist Church of Osmond and Pierce has been worshiping via Online Zoom Worship and will hold Easter Worship Services in that manner.
