Cardinal Kids Learning Center Golf Tournament to be held

RANDOLPH — The Cardinal Kids Learning Center has been approved for a $25,000 matching grant from the Randolph Area Foundation with the stipulation that funds be raised by Dec. 31, 2020.

CKLC is a non-profit service organization. Some fundraising events were already held in early March of this year; the proceeds from those events are designated as part of the $25,000 matching grant goal.

On Sunday, June 28, another fundraiser will take place to raise additional money needed to reach the $25,000 goal.

An adult and child (18 or under) golf tournament will be held at the Randolph Community Golf Course on June 28, beginning at 10 a.m. This two-person scramble does not require the adult and child golf team to be related; it is intended to be a fun and relaxing event.

The teams can participate in a 9-hole event or an 18-hole event at $50 a team. Everyone will start at 10 a.m. The 9-hole event will have its own flights and the 18-hole event will have its own flights also. Trophies will be awarded to flight winners.

A sign-up sheet is located at the Randolph Community Golf Course for anyone wishing to participate as a team, or you may call the clubhouse at 402- 337-1405 and request to be signed up.

Sponsors of holes can have a sign that will be placed on tee boxes. If your business is interested in being a sponsor, please refer to the ad in this week’s paper for contact names.
