Bloodmobile to be held January 25

OSMOND The American Red Cross will be in Osmond on Monday, Jan. 25, at the city hall from Noon until 6 p.m.  Coordinators for the event are Marcia Gansebom, Sandy Jones, Bette Moritz and Candy Fritz.

Appointments and masks are required. Go online to make an appointment or call Candy at (402) 748-3860 days and (402) 329-4590 evenings.

The Red Cross is following FDA blood donations eligibility guidance for those who receive a COVID-19 vaccination. There may be a deferral time, depending upon the type of vaccine and booster an individual receives. There is no deferral time if you receive the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines.

Persons who received the AstraZeneca or Janssen/J&J vaccines must wait two weeks before giving blood. Upon vaccination, they should receive a card indicating which COVID-19 vaccine they received. They are then encouraged to bring that card with them to their next donation.

Circulate the love - Please give blood.
