Bit and Bridle 4-H Club holds monthly meeting

LAUREL — On April 11 the Laurel Bit and Bridle 4-H Club had their monthly meeting.

At the meeting, we discussed fair promotional ideas that the club may be able to do to promote the fair. We also recognized members who competed in the recent speech contest and discussed future meeting ideas and upcoming 4-H events.

We ended our meeting working on bird houses and ladybug pavers. Our Clover Kids painted the ladybug pavers and our 4-H kids started painting their bird houses.

We all got a good start on our projects and will be finishing them up at home in time to take to fair for judging.

The project was really fun, and it was great seeing the creative ideas everyone came up with. Will be fun to see them all when they are done. Be sure to look for them at the Cedar County Fair this July.
