AWANA Clubs hold year-end celebration in Concord

CONCORD — Concord Awana Clubs hosted a year-end celebration and awards ceremony at the Concord Evangelical Free Church April 28.

Children had celebration parties in their club rooms while parents, grandparents and guests watched each club process into the Gym to receive awards. Ninety-three young people were recognized for attendance, hard work and accomplishment.

Those children recognized for completing handbooks were:

Cubbies (ages three and four):

This year about 100 young people attended Awana Clubs in Concord each Wednesday night with approximately 65 teen, college and adult leaders.

Clubs are open to all area youth, ages pre-K through high school. Concord Awana Clubs will resume with registration in August, 2021.
