Area residents are asked to weigh in at Strategic Planning mtg.

LAUREL — Area residents will get their chance to weigh in on the future of Laurel next week.

Laurel Economic Development is planning a special Strategic Planning Session on Tuesday, March 23, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Laurel City Auditorium.

The Strategic Planning Session is a call to action for community members to share their input and ideas and to help create and shape a working plan for Laurel’s continued progress, said Laurel Economic Development Coordinator Chris Rasmussen.

“This is the time to share your voice on what you would like to see happen in the community,” Rasmussen said.

A light supper will be served to meeting attendees, so RSVP’s are encouraged for an accurate number count, Rasmussen said.

Another community meeting is also planned for Thursday, March 25 from 4-6 p.m. at the City Auditorium to discuss the Downtown Revitalization Project. This is a come-and-go setting. There will be no formal presentation.
