100

Days

LCC kindergarten students Crew Koch, Mila Bloom, Brooklynn Rhode and Zacchaeus Rovey pour candy into a huge pan as they prepare to celebrate the first 100 days of school. The kindergarten class learned several lessons when they celebrated their 100th day in school. They learned about numbers as they had to count to 100. They learned about the calendar as they had to back-track to the start of school. They also learned about how the weather can wreak havoc with school activities as the event was originally planned for a few days earlier, but Old Man Winter got in the way. The 100th day of school was full of activities centered around the number 100, from counting pieces of candy, to reading books about the number 100, to doing games that celebrated this special number.
