Reifenrath gains over 2,000 all-purpose yards

LAUREL — The football season is now complete in Cedar County, as the last two teams standing lost in playoff action last week.

Four of Cedar County’s five high school football teams made it into the playoffs this year. LCC, and Wynot lost in first-round action, while Randolph and Hartington-Newcastle made it to the second round before bowing out.

Now that the season is over, all the stats have been tallied and a couple of Bears’ are near the top of the offensive stat lists.3

Wynot’s Landon Wieseler leads all Cedar County quarterbacks with 1,391 passing yards. LCC’s Izac Reifenrath isn’t far behind, though, finishing with 1,309 passing yards this season.
