LCC golf team hosts Invitational meet

LAUREL — The Laurel-Concord-Coleridge golf team hosted its own tournament to close out the regular season on Saturday at Cedar View Country Club.

On Saturday, the Lady Bears were runner-up in their eight-team home tournament, finishing with a 414 and earning a trio of individual medals.

Jadyn Kinkaid had a 91 and placed second after a three-way playoff for first. Glenda Vance shot 102 to finish seventh and Sarah Karnes shot 106 to place 10th. Finishing out LCC’s round were Hope Swanson with a 115 and London VanCleave with a 124. LCC’s JV team finished fifth in the tournament. Sidney Groene led with a 107, Allison Babl shot 123, Delaney Hall shot 125, Brianna Campbell had a 127 and Maddy Graham shot 136.
