Lady Bears fall in L&C Tny. opener

The LCC Lady Bears picked up a pair of wins heading into conference play, but were unable to get out of the first round of the tournament with a win.

On Tuesday, the Lady Bears rolled to a 66-25 win over Osmond at home, blowing the game open with a 26-7 thirdquarter run that helped them come away with the easy win.

Four Lady Bears finished in double figures. Makayla Forsberg, Kinsey Hall and Lorna Maxon each had 12 points in the win, while Madisyn Hall threw in 11 points. Also scoring were Delaney Ehlers with six, Erica Wolfgram and Bethany Kardell with four apiece, Sydney Chapman and Reggan Kuhlman with two apiece and Katelyn Steffen with a free throw.

Forsberg had a double-double with 12 rebounds, while Ehlers had eight, Kinsey Hall had seven and Maxon added six. Wolfgram and Maxon both had five steals and Kardell had three.
