Junior High girls wrap up season

The Laurel-Concord-Coleridge girls basketball team earned top honors in February in the Hartington Tournament.

Coaches Jenny Young and Lynette Pinkleman guided the young team to several exciting wins.

On Feb. 12 the LCC team squared off against Hartington/ Newcastle in a very exciting game losing to them earlier in the season. The Lady Bulldogs edged out HN for a 27-25 win.

Berniece McCorkindale led the offense in the game with 12 points. Haley Christensen chipped in with six points, while Ella Hartung earned four points in the win. Rounding out the scoring were Paige Cook with three points and Mollie Schutte with two points.
