Cardinals fly past Bears in season-opener

LAUREL — The Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Bears got off to a fast start in their season opener Friday at Haskell Field, but couldn’t keep pace as Randolph came back to post a 40-16 win.

The Bears scored on their first two drives, with quarterback Izac Reifenrath doing the honors on runs of 46 and 3 yards to give the Bears a 16-8 advantage after one period.
